BEAVER DAM RUN, ASHEVILLE NC

Before: Beaver Dam Run, a large gated community in Asheville NC. This project was 5-acres divided into 3 sections.

After: Beaver Dam Run. It took 50 goats 1 month to complete this project.
POWER PLANT, VIRGINIA

This is a 36 acre project for a power company in Virginia. The small white dots on the right hand side of the screen are 50 goats!

This picture, taken at the power company in Virginia, is a good example of dangerous and difficult terrains that goats easily manuver. Midway through the project an additional 40 goats were brought on-board bringing the total to 90. The herd was overseen by Moses, a guardian dog.

Maintenance staff spent endless hours trying to maintain the dam, often weedeating it by hand. Bringing Wells Farm Goats on board made maintaining the dam much safer to maintain.
GREAT NECK PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT, NEW YORK

With the help of Americorp volunteers, this project located in Great Neck, NY, was planned and coordinated in only 4 days. 11 Americorp volunteers from around the United States helped make this job possible. The goats also had a special visitor, Congressman Gary Ackermann also helped make this project possible.

25 goats made the 13 hour trip to Great Neck, NY and completed the job in one month. This parcel of land has been designated as a wetland, so the Great Neck Park District had to get creative when clearing the land. Goats were the natural solution.
At Wells Farm we work hard to meet the needs of each and every customer we serve.
