Before:  A group of 20 goats went on this 2 acre track of land in Tryon, NC.  This job was being completed for the Town of Tryon, North Carolina.  This job became part of the seasonal attraction during the summer months!

Tryon, NC:  1 week into the job.

After:  20 goats completed this project in only one month.  These goats were featured in a story by the Tryon Bulletin (daily newspaper), WSPA (news channel 7), WYFF (news channel 4) and WLOS (news channel 13).

Before:  20 goats went into this job for a private land owner in Weaverville, NC.  This project was 3 acres.

After:  This group of 20 goats completed this 3-acre job in only 1 month.  This piece of land was invaded with kudzu, multa flora rose, privet, honeysuckle and some bittersweet vine

Before:   This group of 12 goats worked on a job for a land conservancy group in North Carolina.

After:  This is one week into the project.

Before:  A group of 30 goats started on this job for the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission.  This large-scale project was 5 acres.

After:  This 5-acre track was cleared of a lot of invasive plants including kudzu, multa flora rose bush among others.  This enabled the NC Wildlife Resources Commission to create better access to property that otherwise was unaccessible.

Before:  Overgrown drainage basin with blackberry briars, multi-flora rose, and honeysuckle vine (including various saplings) at the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center in Fletcher, NC.

After:  Western North Carolina Agricultural Center after only four weeks with approximately 20 goats grazing.

Before:  Another overgrown section at the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center in Fletcher, NC.  This patch was severely overgrown with honeysuckle vine

After:  A group of goats cleared this piece in about six weeks.  This piece of property was overtaken with honeysuckle vine.  The vine had entangled itself throughout the fence row.  The goats were able to easily clean off this fence row -- and without the use of machinery or harmful herbicides!

Before:  Here is an example of clearing a lot for a private land ower located in Arden, NC.

After:  A group of fifteen goats cleared this lot in two weeks.  Landowner wanted this lot cleared 100% to the ground with plans to grade and create a homesite.  As you can see, goats can do as good or better than a group of people equipped with weedeaters.  It is also less expensive and easier on the environment when using goats to clear land.
