GOATS ARE AN EXCELLENT SOLUTION TO BRING KUDZU PROBLEMS TO A MANAGEABLE STATE!

Many people do not realize just how reliable goats can be. They can get to just about any kind of location or terrain type. They can be much more effective than machine clearing -- not to mention they are much more quiet and safer for the environment. They also fertilize and till the land while working! Our goats can easily turn slopes heavy with invading weeds into a closely shorn masterpiece that resembles a freshly mowed fairway.
If we can fence it, our goats can take care of your invasive weed problem! We have worked in heavily populated areas as well as more remote pieces of property.
Goats Are Versatile:
Goats can be used effectively in almost any location or terrain type (such as dams and water resevoirs, old landfills), especially in terrain too rocky or steep for human or machine clearing. Goat cleared areas are significantly more attractive
Goats Are Cost Effective:
Goats are one of the most cost effective brush and weed abatement resources per contracted area.
Goats Are Environmentally Safe:
Goats are an environmentally friendly method for clearing areas containing invasive vegitation. Thinning by goats is a natural method resulting in a naturally balanced environment over the long term.
Goats are far less intrusive than mechanical clearing tools. Which would you rather hear...? The loud noise of heavy equipment, or the quiet grazing of goats?
The project was completed for the Town of Dillsboro in North Carolina. This is a closed landfill which became overrun with kudzu making it impossible for town employees to maintain it because of the steepness of the terrain. State regulations require closed landfills to have vegetation under control so routine inspections can be completed making sure there are no issues.
This project was completed in Huntersville, NC for a developer of a new housing development. Kudzu was a huge problem on the steep slopes which the goats were able to easily take care of.
This 2-year project was completed for Western Carolina University. This project was also a closed landfill which was covered up with kuzdu making it impossible for state inspectors to complete routine observations.
